The main gate at Fort Knox will be closed Tuesday (02/01) because of road work.
The post announced Monday that the Chaffee Gate will be closed to all inbound and outbound traffic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
During the scheduled work, both Wilson and Brandenburg gates will be open.
The Visitor Center will not be impacted and will remain open for issuance of new passes.
Chaffee Avenue ramps will be open for egress.
