A Brandenburg man was arrested Monday afternoon on child porn charges.
On February 27, 2023 Detectives with Meade County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on an electronic device belonging to 38 year-old Nicholas Dittmer.
During the execution of the search warrant, pornographic images of juvenile females believed to be under the age of 12 years old were found. Based on the evidence obtained during the execution of the search warrant, Meade County Sheriff’s Office Detectives with the assistance of Meade County Deputies conducted a search warrant at 2330 New Highland Church Road.
During the search, additional electronic devices were obtained and additional searches will be conducted.
Dittmer was arrested and charged with 20 counts of Possessing Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by Minor under 12. He is lodged in the Meade County Detention Center.
