A Vine Grove teen is dead after a two vehicle in Breckinridge County Friday (9/20) night.
Emergency crews were called to a report of a two vehicle accident in the seven thousand block of South Highway 333 near Corners around 8:30 pm ET. According to Kentucky State Police, 18 year-old Kenneth R. Miller, of Vine Grove, was driving a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse northbound when, for unknown reasons, he lost control, overcorrected, crossed the centerline, and came into the path of a 2004 Ford F-250 being driven by 57 year-old Dennis Barnes, also of Vine Grove.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene by the Breckinridge County Coroner. Barnes refused medical treatment at the scene. The roadway was closed several hours to allow for Kentucky State Police to reconstruct the accident. The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, Irvington Police and Fire and Custer Fire Departments all assisted at the scene.
