A man who killed two people and injured two others in a shooting at a Henderson homeless shelter has been sentenced.
Kenneth Brandon Gibbs, 39, of Henderson, shot four people in August 2022 at Harbor House Christian Center on Clay Street in Henderson. Gibbs, who was a resident of the shelter, as the shooter. He was located about two hours after the shooting walking in a nearby park.
Gibbs, according to the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office, recently pled guilty to two counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder. He was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for both murders and 10 years on each attempted murder count. The charges will run concurrently.
