Authorities arrested three men in Louisville on drug trafficking charges Tuesday.
Louisville Metro Police said they conducted a search warrant at a residence on South Floyd Street after receiving multiple crime tips, community complaints and traffic stops that resulted in drug seizures.
Antwan Dailey, 22; Malachi Dailey, 19; and Joshua Studdard, 18, were all inside the residence, according to their arrest citations.
The citations showed when the SWAT team arrived, they activated their emergency equipment and announced to the household that police had a search warrant for the property. Despite repeated attempts to get them out of the property, no one left the residence.
SWAT “breached the front door” and told them to exit the location, but they still didn’t listen, the arrest citations showed. Officers eventually went inside and detained the three suspects.
Police said it was believed they tampered with evidence when they didn’t exit the residence.
While executing the search warrant, police said they found marijuana, suspected cocaine, money, an AK-style pistol, a Canik TP9 handgun, a Smith & Wesson SD 40 handgun, and drug paraphernalia including scales, marijuana grinders and empty sandwich bags with the help of K9 officers.
All three of them are charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl), trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in controlled substance (heroin), trafficking in controlled substance (less than or equal to four grams of cocaine), tampering with physical evidence, drug paraphernalia and engaging in organized crime.
All three men are being held in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections under on $10,000 cash bond each.
