A 35-year-old woman has been charged with assault after she allegedly stabbed another woman at a Campbellsville home.
According to the Campbellsville Police Department, officers responding to a home on Smith Ridge Road just before 1 p.m. Wednesday found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
They also found Kayla Thompson, who was arrested at the scene. She is facing one count of first degree assault.
Thompson is being held in the Taylor County Detention Center.
