The city of Vine Grove is appointing five residents to be part of a committee that focuses solely on decisions about the city’s bridges.
During a work session Monday, Vine Grove Mayor Pam Odgen said she put together a committee of people who can make a decision about Otter Creek Bridge and St. Andrews Bridge.
Vine Grove council previously discussed options on what to do with the deteriorated bridge over Otter Creek recently ordered closed.
Odgen said the committee would weigh the options and provide a recommended course of action for the council. The committee also will be asked to weigh in on what the council should do with any money received specifically for bridge repairs.
