Alma Jean Greer, age 92 of Brandenburg, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026.
She was born on June 20, 1933, in Battletown to the late Gertrude and Rosco Smith. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Greer; her brothers, Adrian Smith, Ray Smith, Earl Smith; and sisters, Lula Bell Smith, Sue Hall, and Maureen Woods; a grandson and a great granddaughter.

Six children: Bobbie Allen, Monnie Greer, Connie Metcalfe, Michael Greer, Donna Ford and Diana Compton;
One sister: Christy Smith;
Nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. EDT. Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 until 8 p.m. EDT. and continue on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
