
Former Meade Circuit Court Judge Kenneth H. Goff I died Saturday (6/6) at the age of 99.
Goff was a 1943 graduate of Caneyville High School, he went on to serve as Judge for the 46th Judicial Circuit of Breckinridge, Grayson and Meade Counties for many years. His son, Kenneth II, went on to serve on both District and Circuit benches. In addition, the elder Goff also served as County and Commonwealth’s Attorney.
Goff was instrumental in many business ventures including the beginning of what is now Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center and various industrial projects in Grayson County. He also was a previous owner of WKHG and WMTL radio stations in Leitchfield until the mid 1990s. He is survived by five children.
