Neleda “Nita” Ann Phillips Allen, age 66 of Wolf Creek, passed away on August 17, 2026, at her home.
She was born on February 23, 1960, in Liberty, Kentucky to Phillip Morris Phillips and Anna Mae Phillips. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Morris Phillips, and her sister, Abigail Hancock.

Her husband: Stephen “Kent” Allen of Wolf Creek;
Two daughters: Savannah Andrews and Hannah Sadler;
Her mother: Anna Mae Phillips;
One brother: Anthony “Tony” Phillips;
Three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 11 a.m. at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg. Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity in Nita’s memory.
