A man is in custody after a shooting Friday afternoon in Louisville’s California neighborhood.
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded around 3:30 p.m. Friday to the 2200 block of Garland Avenue on reports of a shooting.
Once on scene, officers found a man shot in the leg. He was taken to UofL Hospital with what police said are non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested Andre Harris in connection to the shooting. He is charged with second-degree assault.
The investigation is ongoing.
