Multi Alarm Fire Near Custer
Fire crews from Custer, McDaniels, Harned, Irvington and Hardinsburg Fire Departments were called to a report of a house fire in the 900 block of Paul Alexander Lane, just off Highway 690, south of Custer, just before 10 am CT Thursday (4/4) morning. According to a release from Custer Fire and Rescue, the fire appears to have began in a bathroom of the home, and spread to the attic before fire units were called. No one was at home at the time of the blaze, which appears to have been electrical in nature. Damage to the home was extensive. Firefighters were able to save a detached garage beside the home.
