Richmond police have arrested a mother and son in connection to a deadly shooting that happened early Sunday morning.
Adrian Collins is charged with killing 37-year-old Ronnie Kelly. Collins is being held at the Madison County Detention Center on murder and evidence tampering charges.
Melissa Collins, his mother, was also arrested for tampering with evidence.
Kelly was killed by a single gunshot to the head, according to the coroner. Police have not released a cause for the shooting, but are continuing to investigate.
