A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a shooting last month in Louisville’s Parkland neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police announced Wednesday that 38 year-old Dejuan Kannamore was arrested in connection with the September 20 shooting in the 3200 block of West Kentucky Street.
Police said Kannamore and the victim knew each other and had arranged to meet outside a home when Kannamore allegedly ran toward the victim’s car after they arrived and shot him in the arm while he was in the driver’s seat.
Kannamore then fled the scene before police arrived, according to arrest documents.
The victim was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Kannamore is charged with first degree assault, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, firearms discharge and additional drug-related charges.
