
Southbound Interstate 65 was closed for about 4 hours in Bullitt County after a three-vehicle crash on the Salt River Bridge that killed one person and injured two others.
The crash, which happened about 4:45 Friday morning, shut down all southbound lanes of I-65 at mile marker 116, and it remained closed until just before 9 a.m.
Shepherdsville police said one of the drivers was taken to University of Louisville Hospital and was being interviewed by investigators. A second driver was taken by private vehicle to Jewish Hospital with minor injuries. The name of the third driver, who was killed, has not been released.
