A man has been charged in the death of a Scottsville missing man.
Scottsville Police say Stuart Hearell was reported missing from Cornerstone Manor assisted living facility around 7 a.m. November 26.
Around 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Tommy Mulhall went to police headquarters and confessed to killing Hearell around Thanksgiving and gave police a location of where the body was.
Police went to the location at 619 Cartertown Spur Road in Scottsville, where they discovered Hearell’s body in a shallow grave.
Hearell was recovered Thursday and Mulhall was arrested without incident and booked into The Allen County Detention Center. He is charged with 1st Degree Murder and Tampering with Evidence.
