
Bowling Green Police have arrested five people in connection with recent burglaries and shootings.
Detectives from the Bowling Green/Warren County Drug Task Force saw several of the suspects leaving an apartment at 1020 Old Barren River Road.
The detectives conducted a traffic stop that resulted in four of the suspects being arrested and two handguns were found in the vehicle.
Officers executed a search warrant at the apartment where stolen firearms and ammunition were found. Officers arrested a fifth person shortly after the traffic stop.
Emmitt Smith, 19, was charged with Engaging in Organized Crime, Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm), Burglary 2nd Degree, Illegal Possession of Legend Drug, and Buying/Possessing Drug Paraphernalia.
David Bridges III, 18, was charged with Engaging in Organized Crime, Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm), Wanton endangerment 1st Degree, and Burglary 1st Degree.
Christopher Lancaster, 19, was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Engaging in Organized Crime, Promoting Contraband 1st Degree, Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm), Burglary 2nd Degree, and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.
Brittane Wardlow, 18, was charged with Engaging in Organized Crime, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Failure to Use Child Restraint Device in Vehicle, and Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm).
Aurora Schrader, 18, was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm), and Engaging in Organized Crime.
