The weekend’s heavy snows did some serious damage to several boats and docks in southern Kentucky.
The weight of the snow caused the collapse of dock roofs at the Holmes Bend Marina Resort on Green River Lake and at the Jamestown Marina on Lake Cumberland.
Bad roads have kept marina officials from assessing the damage.
The emergency response team for Safe Harbor Marinas will be on-site Monday at Jamestown Marina to evaluate the damage.
Grider Hill Marina on Lake Cumberland also suffered damage.
No injuries were reported.
