Louisville Metro police are investigating after a person who was shot was found in the parking lot of a home improvement store.
Officers were flagged down in the parking lot of the Home Depot, located at 6840 Dixie Highway, at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, according to MetroSafe. When officers went over they discovered a man in his 40s had a gunshot wound.
Police said the victim was shot at another location and he and another person drove to the Home Depot.
The victim was taken to University of Louisville Hospital. Police said the victim is expected to survive.
The LMPD Major Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting. There are no arrests or suspects at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous police tip line at (502) 574-LMPD.
