A early morning fire damaged a shop area at a car dealership in Brandenburg.
Fire crews from the Meade County, Flaherty, Muldraugh, and Ekron Fire Departments were called to the detail shop in the back lot of Tony Brown Chevrolet just after 7:30 am Monday (10/10). Fire crews worked about an hour to gain control of the flames and remained on the scene until 11 am. The building suffered severe damage from the fire.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
