
A man was arrested Thursday after dozens of marijuana plants were found growing inside a Bardstown home.
The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, the Bardstown Police Department, and the Bardstown Flex Team executed a search warrant at a home in the 6500 block of Loretto Road in Bardstown. They found about 250 marijuana plants, about three pounds of processed marijuana, crystal methamphetamine, and cocaine, according to a news release.
Thomas Amuel Metcalf Jr., 48, was arrested and charged with cultivating marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Additional suspects are expected to be charged as the investigation continues.
