A family of eight are displaced after a Sunday (3/5) evening fire in Muldraugh.
Fire Crews from Muldraugh, Meade County, and Flaherty Fire Departments were called to the scene at 101 East Garnettsville Road around 5:30 pm. When fire crews arrived at the scene, they found the structure fully involved. Crews worked about an hour to gain control of the flames. House was severely damaged as a result of the fire. No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was called to assist the residents on the home.
Meade County EMS and Kentucky State Police also assisted at the scene. The cause of the fire was not immediately known and the investigation remains ongoing.
