As work continues of the Sherman Minton Bridge, officials are adding another lane closure.
According to the Sherman Minton Renewal Project, a westbound lane of I-64 on the top deck of the bridge will be closed until further notice.
Crews were conducting demolition activities when a component on the bridge deck was found to need repairs before traffic is allowed to cross the top deck.
This means drivers will not be able to access the New Albany exit (123) during the lane closure.
Motorists can expect delays and are urged to use alternate routes when possible.
