Three individuals took off from Flaherty Chevrolet in Brandenburg early Tuesday morning, with a 2024 Chevy Tahoe Z71 worth roughly $70,000.
The thieves were on the lot for nearly an hour starting just after 5 a.m. on November 5. After they couldn’t steal a Dodge Charger they had been targeting, they turned their eyes to the storefront.
After breaking through the door, the thieves went on the hunt inside for any set of keys they could find, according to owner Travis Flaherty. Flaherty caught their every move on camera.
Several vehicles were left damaged in the process. Windows were smashed and cars were pushed into one another.
Flaherty is offering a $10,000 reward for information that can lead to the arrest of the thieves and get the vehicle back.
The Meade County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and said the vehicle was last seen on Dixie Highway heading toward the Louisville area.
