A driver was airlifted to a Nashville hospital Tuesday afternoon following a single-vehicle rollover crash involving a tractor-trailer.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at 1:38 p.m. to the 5000 block of Bradshaw Road. Investigators reported the semi was traveling southbound when it left the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned before coming to a stop.
Emergency crews extricated the driver from the wreckage. Hopkinsville EMS transported the driver to a designated landing zone to meet an emergency medical helicopter, which flew him to a Nashville hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Pembroke Fire Department and Christian County Rescue assisted deputies at the scene.
