
A Louisville man is accused of shooting his 28-year-old great-grandson in the hand Friday night, according to Louisville Metro Police Department.
Officers responded to the 600 block of South 38th Street around 9:42 p.m. Friday after a report of a shooting. They found a man with a gunshot wound to his hand.
The victim refused to go to the hospital. Louisville Fire Department personnel and EMS treated him at the scene.
Police said the shooting appeared to be domestic-related. After interviewing people involved, the department’s Domestic Violence Unit arrested 79 year-old Willie Bell.
Bell faces two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and one count of second-degree assault related to domestic violence, according to police.
