A man has been arrested and charged after deputies with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office investigated a shooting incident that led to the discovery of child sexual abuse materials.
Carlos Escobar, 25, is charged with:
Distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor under 12-year-old
Possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor under 12-year-old
Escobar also has an active immigration hold placed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Officials say during the shooting investigation detectives got information leading to a separate investigation involving allegations of sexual materials involving a minor.
Escobar was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 13. He’s currently being held at the Warren County Regional Jail.
