A second man has been arrested in connection to a weekend murder in Axtel.
Kentucky State Police has charged 35 year-old Derek Quiggins of Hardinsburg with complicity to murder. This arrest comes after the arrest of 39 year-old Johnny Lee Sowders of Hardinsburg, who is facing charges of Murder and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.
Both men are facing charges in the death of 51 year-old Jerry McGee of Hardinsburg at an address near Axtel. According to a social media post, no other details are expected to be provided in the case at this time.
