
Two men have been arrested on charges related to possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by Post 5- in Campbellsburg, arrested 56 year-old Anthony L. Crockett and 39 year-old John D. Pierce Thursday, February 18, 2016.
Crockett and Pierce were arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspects advertising images of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Crockett’s and Pierce’s residence, which they share, on February 18, 2016. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.
Crockett is currently charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Pierce is charged with one count of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Each charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.
Both men were lodged at Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
The case remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
