Police have a arrested a 47 year-old man who is accused of killing 47-year-old Phillip Chase at a residence in Cannelton, Indiana.
Police were called to scene in the 4300 block of Bell Hollow Road in Cannelton, Indiana.
Indiana State Police said Stacy Matheny of Cannelton confronted Chase and a verbal altercation ensued. That is when Matheny alledgely shot Chase. Chase was pronounced dead at the scene by the Perry County coroner.
Chase was visiting a person who resides at the residence when the shooting happened. Police said that Matheny left the scene and was later arrested in Hancock County, Kentucky.
