Kentucky State Police are investigating after an 18-year-old female was found dead at the scene of a house fire.
Police said in a statement that first responders responded Monday night to a report of a structure fire at the home in Livingston County.
Police say Melissa C. Hopkins was pronounced dead at the scene by Livingston County Coroner Jeff Armstrong. An autopsy is planned Wednesday in Louisville.
