A mother and her young daughter were killed in a two-vehicle crash in the Ball Hallow community of LaRue County on Monday.
The LaRue County Coroner said 32 year-old Ashley Brooke Moore and 9 year-old Brooklyn Layne Carothers were from Campbellsville.
The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 210 and East Bailey Road near the Green County line just before 6 a.m. on Monday. Highway 210 was closed for several hours while accident reconstructionists investigated.
Authorities from LaRue County, Green County, and Kentucky State Police responded to the scene.
