
A six-month investigation by the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department and the Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations West has resulted in the arrests of two people on multiple charges.
Police made a traffic stop along Highway 261 south of Hardinsburg on Wednesday (3/16) led to a search warrant issued and served at a location in the two-hundred block of Jim Bob Mattingly Road, where over 100 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, weapons and money were moved from the residence.
An occupant of the location, 26 year-old Shannon Jones was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first degree (meth), and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Antonio Pitt, 26 of Louisville, was also arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first degree (meth), criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, operating on a suspended license, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Both were lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
