
A two vehicle accident sent one to the driver to the hospital Thursday.
According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 259 and 737.
A 2002 Suzuki passenger car. driven by 59-year-old Patricia King of Irvington, was travelling eastbound on Highway 737 when she failed to stop at the stop sign, striking the rear tire and trailer of a farm truck, driven by 31-year-old Sam Critchelow, who was northbound on Highway 259.
King was transported to Breckinridge Memorial Hospital by Breck Central EMS. Critchelow was not injured.
The McDaniels Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
