An Elizabethtown man was found stabbed to death inside his Dawn Avenue home Tuesday night.
According to a Hardin County Sheriff’s Department news release, 74 year-old Lewis E. Hoskinson was found dead on a floor inside the home.
Deputies were sent to the residence around 7 p.m. on a request from the Anchorage Police Department for a welfare check at the home.
When Hardin County Sheriff deputies arrived, they could see someone on the floor inside the home.
The stabbing appears to be related to a Tuesday officer-involved shooting in Anchorage. A vehicle registered to the Dawn Avenue address was found abandoned in a dead-end street in Anchorage.
Hardin County Sheriff’s Department is working in conjuction with the Louisville Metro Police Department on the case.
