A one vehicle accident in Meade County early Sunday morning claimed the life of a Brandenburg man.
Kentucky State Police Post 4 Troopers responded to a single vehicle collision near the 1900 block of KY79 in Meade County early Sunday (2/02) morning just after 3:30.
The preliminary investigation revealed that 29 year-old Joshua M. Marr of Brandenburg was traveling south on KY79 in a 2019 Honda HRV when for unknown reasons Marr’s vehicle left the roadway before rolling over multiple times.
Marr was pronounced deceased by the Meade County Coroner’s Office.
The affected portion of KY79 was closed in order allow troopers to investigate the collision.
The Brandenburg Police Department, Breckinridge Sheriff’s Office, Meade County Sheriff’s Office, Irvington Police Department, Hardinsburg Police Department, Ekron Fire Department, Brandenburg Fire Department, Meade County EMS, and Breckinridge County EMS assisted the Kentucky State Police at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
