An additional case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Meade County by Saturday’s update from the Lincoln Trail District Health Department.
The single new case follows Friday’s report which saw no cases of the virus confirmed in any of the six counties served by the district.
According to a department news release, there are 28 cases in Hardin County, 4 in LaRue County, 13 in Marion County, 3 in Meade County and 3 in Washington County. An elderly Meade County woman accounts for the sole COVID-related death in the district.
About 57 cases are on home isolation or have been released from monitoring.
