The Ekron City Commission met Tuesday (11/03) for regular monthly meeting.
Larry and Lisa Edwards from Scrappys Recycling in Ekron presented their case for a Business
License in the City of Ekron. They are required to put at least a 9 ft fence around premises for
state and license.
The Ekron Fire Department had a letter for review from commissioners on wanting to purchase two lots
across from fire house for a new fire house. This item of business was tabled for further review.
The commission unanimously voted to order street signs and posts from Amazon for the city. They also voted to order a new Welcome to Ekron sign from Gentry’s in Hardinsburg.
An end of year wage adjustment was approved by the commission.
The next regular monthly meeting will be held January 5, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.
