
A Munfordville man is facing several charges after allegedly threatening a police officer during a Barren County traffic stop.
On Wednesday, July 30, Glasgow police pulled over 45 year-old Michael House on East Cherry Street after observing him driving on a suspended license, according to Major Terry Flatt.
Flatt said methamphetamine and a loaded syringe were located in House’s pants pocket. He also allegedly resisted arrest, spitting on an officer and threatening to kill him.
House was arrested and charged with the following, in addition to various traffic offenses:
Driving on DUI suspended license
Resisting arrest
Third-degree assault (bodily fluid)
Third-degree assault of police or probation officer
First-degree possession a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Terroristic threatening
Wanton endangerment of a police officer
Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense)
House is now lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
