
Multiple complaints led to the arrest of four people in a major drug bust in Bowling Green on Tuesday.
On December 9, detectives from the Bowling Green Police Department and the Bowling Green/Warren County Drug Task Force conducted surveillance at a resident on Newton Avenue. Detectives had received multiple complaints about activity at the residence consistent with drug trafficking.
According to Bowling Green Police Department, officers stopped a man after he was seen leaving the home, and based on evidence obtained during the stop, detectives secured a search warrant for the residence.
Detectives found a large amount of methamphetamine and several handguns inside the residence.
As a result of the investigation, four people were arrested:
Jared Omar Pero, age 45 of Bowling Green, was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Methamphetamine (Enhanced); Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Fentanyl; Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon; Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm); Tampering with Physical Evidence; and Probation Violation for a Felony Offense. He is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail under a $25,000 cash bond.
Joseph Crawford McDorman, age 27 of Portland, Tennessee, was charged with Failure to or Improper Signal; Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree; and Possession of Marijuana. He is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail under a $2,500 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on December 17.
Judah Haws, age 22 of Bowling Green, was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Methamphetamine (Enhanced); Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Fentanyl; Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm); Tampering with Physical Evidence; and Failure to Appear. She is being held in Warren County Regional Jail under a $25,525 cash bond.
Leigha E. Rivas, age 19 of Bowling Green, was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Methamphetamine (Enhanced); Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Fentanyl; Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm); and Tampering with Physical Evidence. She is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail under a $10,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on December 17.
The investigation is ongoing.
