Two more teens were charged with murder after a man was found dead in August at McNeely Lake Park in Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police Department said 19-year-old Chris Payne, also known as Christopher Thomas, was arrested Monday and charged with complicity to murder, complicity to first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
Another suspect, 19-year-old Quamain Emery Brown, was arrested Thursday in Floyd County, Indiana. Brown faces the same charges and is being held at the Floyd County Jail.
The arrests come more than two months after 32 year-old Bilal Mbeirick was found shot to death just before 12:30 p.m. on August 1 at the park off Cooper Chapel Road.
A 17-year-old boy was previously arrested in September in connection with the case. He faces several charges, including murder, first-degree robbery and possession of a handgun by a minor.
Police have not released additional details about what led to the man’s death or how the suspects were involved.
