
A Wednesday morning traffic stop in Hart County led to the arrest of two people and the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
Around 10:25 a.m., a Kentucky State Police Trooper observed a 1995 Ford F-150 speeding north of Munfordville.
After initiating a traffic stop, the officer discovered the registration plate did not belong to the vehicle and the truck had been reported stolen in December from the Louisville area.
The driver, 20-year-old Dillon Warren of Summersville, was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property Under $10,000, Speeding, and other various traffic related offenses.
Warren also had outstanding warrants from Hart County charging him with Burglary 2nd Degree, Theft by Unlawful Taking Under $10,000, and Theft by Unlawful Taking Under $500. He was served with those warrants along with the other charges.
The passenger, 23-year-old Candi McKinney of Hardyville, was arrested and charged with Giving Officer False Name.
When her true identity was learned, she was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine) and No Tail Lights from an outstanding warrant in Marion County.
