Kentucky State Police notified the Glasgow Police Department Thursday they were investigating a complaint of an injured child involving Glasgow Police Officer Joey Judd.
Officer Judd allegedly became involved in a domestic situation with the juvenile son of his fiance while off duty.
The juvenile was injured and taken to TJ Samson Hospital for treatment and was released.
Officer Judd was placed on paid suspension Thursday until completion of the criminal investigation by the Kentucky State Police, and final disposition of any criminal allegations.
The Glasgow Police Department will conduct any administrative investigations in the case separate from the Kentucky State Police criminal investigation.
