One vehicle accident claims the life of a Meade County man Tuesday (9/13) afternoon.
According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Office, 48 year-old Daniel P. Neal of Vine Grove was traveling north on KY 1816 in a 2012 Dodge Ram when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway and traveled a short distance in a field before striking a tree.
Neal was pronounced dead at the scene by the Meade County Coroner’s Office. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The Meade County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Flaherty Fire and Rescue, Meade County EMS and Meade County Coroner’s office.
