Motorists in Meade County will have to continue to use alternate routes due to the road work that has KY823 closed.
Due to additional rainfall and associated construction issues this week during the installation of the new culvert, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will not be able to open the road this Friday as previously announced. It will likely be next Thursday before KY 823 will be opened back up to traffic at this location.
