Meade County Fiscal Court met in special session Tuesday morning with all members present to finalize the business for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.
After a brief discussion, the magistrates voted to adopt an updated Administrative Code for the county. The code had not been updated since 2001.
The court went into closed session to discuss some personnel matters. After about 30 minutes of discussion, the court voted to hire Karen Chiari as the new Planning and Zoning Administrator.
All items were approved by unanimous vote.
