Kent Marshall Boyd, Sr., age 93 of Brandenburg, passed away on Friday (2/21) at his home.
He was born May 2, 1926 in Alderson, WV to the late Ernest and Flakie Neal Boyd. His brother, Eugene Boyd, also preceded him in death.

Three children: Susan Boyd Mahmoud, Kent Marshall Boyd, Jr. of Bardstown, and Steven Boyd of Simpsonville;
Four grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Monday (2/24) at 11 a.m. EST at the First Baptist Church in Brandenburg. Burial will follow in the New Highland Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. EST and after 9 a.m. Monday at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg.
