A Meade County resident is the first person from the area to die from complications related to COVID-19, the Lincoln Trail District Health Department reported Thursday afternoon.
The district didn’t release age or gender of the victim.
Meade County has had two confirmed cases reported as positive for the virus, a 16 year-old female and a 75 year-old male.
Hardin County has added two confirmed cases of COVID-19 and now has 22 cases.
