
Louisville police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Tuesday afternoon.
Louisville Metro Police Department said around 1:45 p.m. on February 24, officers were called to the Chase Bank in the 1700 block of Bardstown Road on the report of a holdup.
Police said their preliminary investigation showed a white man entered the bank and demanded cash. He was given an undetermined amount of money and left the bank in an unknown direction.
LMPD’s Robbery Unit is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call LMPD’s Anonymous Tip Line at (502) 574-LMPD (5673) or to use the online Crime Tip Portal.
Police are also asking anyone with video, by phone or surveillance camera, to submit the footage to the crime tip portal or call and let police know.
