The Kentucky State Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal collision that occurred on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at approximately 9:50 a.m. on US-31W within the city limits of Muldraugh.
Preliminary investigation indicates 34 year-old Dennis J. Perry, of Louisville, was operating a Ford Escape northbound on US-31W when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle departed the roadway and struck the end of a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle came to rest on the driver’s side on the outside shoulder of the roadway. Perry was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Meade County Coroner.
The Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by the Meade County Sheriff’s Office, Meade County EMS, and the Meade County Coroner’s Office.
The collision remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
